Laser Photonics Unveils New Compact CleanTech CR-3030 Laser Cleaning System

ORLANDO, Fla., April 30, 2024 – Laser Photonics Corporation (LPC) (NASDAQ: LASE), a leading global industrial developer of laser systems for laser cleaning and other material applications, unveiled its new small form factor CleanTech Commercial Roughening Laser 3030 (CleanTech CR-3030) for cleaning, roughening and surface preparation.

The CleanTech CR-3030 is the world’s most compact and portable Class IV dual axis handheld laser roughening and surface preparation system. Supplied with an air-cooling system rather than the large water chiller required by many high-powered laser cleaning units, the CleanTech CR-3030 sports a markedly smaller and lighter form factor. In fact, the main system is nearly 85% smaller than our water-chilled CleanTech 1500-CTHD and weighs nearly 70% less.

“The small form factor of the CleanTech CR-3030 handheld system takes usability to the next level,” said Wayne Tupuola, CEO of Laser Photonics. “It is smaller and lighter, yet it can achieve the same strip rate as its standard sized high-power siblings. At the same time, like all our larger models, it ensures operator safety while delivering the same cost-effectiveness and time-efficiency benefits.”

The CleanTech CR-3030 features new Laser Head Overheat Protection and an upgraded Smartphone App. Overheat Protection displays the current temperature on the system monitor and halts operation should the temperature surpass 122 °F (50 °C). The Smartphone App allows mode changing via the mobile application; the user is now able to control and change the settings of the system from a mobile device.
